Having achieved an A level in art at school, I put down my brush, (well actually it was a pencil) & put my flair into creating culinary art on the plate for over 23 years. Sadly following a life changing accident in 2007 I was forced to put down my palette knife but in early 2016 I picked up a brush and palette after a 32 year gap from the easel & began painting in watercolours at first. After a year my wife arranged for me to attend an oil painting course with a royal academy acclaimed artist where I sold my second oil painting off the easel on day 2 of the course! Now my wife (or should I say my muse) along with the stunning Cornish coastline, has unleashed the artist within once more.
To see the potential from a view, and to then transfer that to canvas is within everyone I believe; what ever you choose to be your medium becomes your art.
