Judy was a Production Assistant at the BBC in London. When she left to have a family she began to paint and found that her naturally naïve style was popular. Her first solo exhibition was in London in 1981. Judy now runs The Little Picture Gallery in Mousehole and also The Association of British Naïve Artists (ABNA)
Judy loves to paint life story commissions for people. These can take three months to complete and involve designing a complete painting using ideas from photographs and memories from the clients.
Judy always paints her white haired Mum and a dog in every painting, as it was her Mum who encouraged her always to be creative and follow her dream.
